I would like to say sorry for being absent in the moment. This season of the year is our most busy period and I am very glad that the business is slowly coming back after the financial crises and I hope we made it through the worst time already!

I am really far behind answering messages, to thank for favs and for having a look at all your great deviations. But just three weeks to go and Christmas time starts for me, too. Buying presents at the very last moment, I guess a typical man thing

The wave of influenza has reached my family and colleagues. Until today I was lucky, no one was too serious ill. We have still big discussions if a vaccination makes sense. What do you think?

Last Sunday I celebrated my birthday with my family and friends. All of them are living in different parts of Germany and for years we had no big family come together. Normally I am not really keen on celebrating my birthday and I use to travel at that date . But this year I thought it might be a good idea to get all the people travel to Berlin and I was surprised that all of them came. There was a big party with lots of kids, laughing, screaming, shouting – so real life
Most of them went home again now and it’s getting silent and I can relax a little bit, which is somehow good. But to be honest I really enjoyed the crowd!

For the fifth time, the Festival of Lights has started in Berlin. For two weeks more than 50 Berlin buildings and landmarks are atmospherically illuminated. I am really excited! Even if I have to travel a lot now I hope to find some time during the following weekends for some shots.

Tomorrow is the 3rd October and Germany will celebrate the reunion which took place 20 years ago. Especially Berlin has changed a lot in the last 20 years and sometimes it is difficult to say if you are currently in the East or in the West part of Berlin. But still in the Eastern area of Germany you can see the lack of money. In many towns on the country side the infra structure is still bad, especially if it come to streets and fast Internet connection. Some people say it will take at least another 20 years until west and east are really united.
Anyhow no matter what the costs are, I am still convinced that the reunion was the best what could happen at that time to all people in Germany, even in Europe. And I am still very touched when I remember the day when the wall was falling

First of all I really would like to thank you for your great support the last months. I made so many new friends and saw really great and very inspiring art. And of course I received a lot of favs and comments.
For the moment I have the feeling that I would need 48 hours days to get all my work done and this leaves me not much time to visit your galleries, leaving comments and faving some of your beautiful arts. I am really sorry for that and I hope to find some more time in the near future.
